The Lund/LBNL Nuclear Data Search provides on-line access to data from the Table of Isotopes handbook. Data may be accessed via radiation or nuclide searches. Radiation searches may be conducted on several levels, from the more general (energy and energy type -- alpha or gamma), to the more specific (parent information, such as half-life, mass number, or element).

Nuclear structure research is conducted at international accelerator laboratories, e.g. CERN-ISOLDE and GSI-FAIR-NUSTAR, based on advanced detector systems developed in Lund. Multidisciplinary neutron-detector development and characterization is being facilitated. Accelerator mass spectrometry with 14C is used for primarily medical and environmental projects.

Nuclear Physics is the study of the structure and properties of the atomic nucleus. At LTH research is directed towards ion-beam-based measurements, including the PIXE (proton-induced X-ray emission) method. Development is taking place in methods of measurement and optimization of ion optics. Dr. Lund received a PhD in high-energy nuclear physics at the University of Lund in 1986.
The MR Physics Group is broadly composed by participants from several different departments and sections at Lund University and at Skåne University Hospital and it is presently Sweden´s largest research group in its field. Until 1992, he continued to work as a researcher in high-energy nuclear physics in Germany (GSI Darmstadt), the Netherlands (KVI Groningen) and Switzerland (CERN Geneva). In 1992 he joined the Swedish Radiation Protection Authority (SSI).
